    makeshift leftover odds and ends tea tonight. roasted three big portobello mushrooms and a little onion with a bit of olive oil, lots of garlic and thyme. made mash with the last few spuds mashed in a couple of handfuls of spinach at the last minute, ate it with the caramelised onions and garlicky mushrooms balanced on top masterchef style. not bad with a glass of rioja.
