I used to have Telewest before they became Virgin, and the customer support was pretty decent if unspectacular. Dealing with Virgin afterwards was eye-gougingly awful though.
(Also: Zen internet were wonderful when I was with them. Proper technical support that answered the phone and were actually helpful, even when dealing with obscure kit that they didn't provide)
