Mine just arrived. Oddly, it's running 2.1 not 1.6. Thanks for th link. Not available to download yet but bookmarked.

Apparently the unlocked phones get the Froyo 2.2 update first, then a few weeks after, the phones locked to network service providers.

The Sony Ericsson X12 ANZU is already looking impressively powerful.

Its Neocore scores are the highest recorded on a stock* Android phone.

*Though obviously not yet released to the public.

Wasn't unlocked. On an upgrade on orange. I think there is an option on the phone to update when available.

just installed Froyo on my ZTE Blade (orange san francisco). Excellent stuff. The typing experience is much improved. It's my first android device, though, so I don't have any meaningful comparisons to make.

Went to a random phone shop in Hastings where the other half lives, and I asked him to show me some android phones, and he gave me a windows HTC, and according to J, I snapped at him really loudly telling him he was trying to sell me the wrong sodding system. :/

I dont remember snapping or yelling but what an idiot.

Anyone want a barely used San Fran (ZTE Blade) unlocked to all networks!

Does anyone use Tapatalk for this forum? I thought the app looked quite handy but would like some reviews, looks like a very easy way to navigate forums on mobile (rather than a mobile template)

I read on twitter there was no SD card. For realz? What are they playin' at? I hope it has a lot of onboard storage..

o2, but bought Nexus 1 direct from google last year.
I think my previous updates have come directly from google. For all o2 know, I could have my sim stuck up my arse.

Yeah, SIM-free so you will get OTA sooner than people on contract.

sweet. doesn't seem to be any chance of getting the S direct from google though, more's the shame. Anyone on here work for the big G and fancy hooking me up?
