I love the arrows. Bought myself a board a few years ago. Never had a 180 though - loads of 140s and above, but never the full house. Love watching it too. Proper end-of-the-pier entertainment.

Yes, me now and again, but I'm from Stoke therefore I'm brilliant at it. (Winky Smily)

I love Darts, crap at playing - but love watching it.
Been to Lakeside and Circus Tavern a couple of times, and Ally Pally.
Prefer LakesideLooking forward to the BDO champs in Jan
Come on Wolfy!Rourkie..are you the Power?

I hate Wolfy. His 'aw, shucks' shrug and laugh. Toss-pot. I likes me a bit of Ted Hankey.

ha, sat next to Bobby George on the train a couple of weeks ago. legend.

Darts, ooh yes.
Hold me upright point me at the board and I'll play the last match. -

No but I have sold him a few bikes over the years and he did have a new one one for himself last year. Don't laugh but he actually started to get 'fitter' for a while but he must have forgot where he put it recently. He's also sits near me at Stoke City sometimes.

Phil Taylor was a bodybuilder in his youth, wasn't he? I heard from time to time he goes on a crazy fitness/training binge but last time he did it it coincided with his form dropping off quite badly so it was back to the oatcakes pretty quickly.
I play darts. I have scored 180s, but not many.
I was probably more proud of the time I was playing my brother, doing 301, playing terribly, scored a sketchy 79 on the first throw and he tells me "pub rules, if you're on 222 you get one shot at treble 2 for the leg".
throws treble 2
"Cunt."

Also, one of the great things about darts is that you can totally geek out over your equipment and it costs a fraction of doing the same thing with bikes.
22g Unicorn Sigma 950s with nylon Slikstik Plus (long) stems and John Lowe autograph flights (Slim shape), since you asked.

I won a trophy at Shambala for hitting a blueberry with a dart, from the top of a stepladder. Happy days. (it was the fruit darts challenge, and in 2 yrs no-one had hit a blueberry).
Got home and checked my dartboard, confirmed blueberry is about the size of a bullseye, so on reflection it wasn't all that special an achievement.

On the contrary, well played Sir

God, cant you take anything seriously? fruit darts indeed...

Pukka bit of utube there..
my mates have started a dart based thing called the BDC (beer darts and curry). Where they meet up at a local boozer at 12 noon, drink and play darts for 7.5 hours and then go for a ruby.
There have been ton plus checkouts, bullseye check outs and magical maximums but only upto pint 4 then it all gets a bit iffy. there now even three leagues the Vindaloo, Korma and Chutneys.
There are some quite quirky rules too eg. if your 1 minute late you have to down a can of Barley Wine before you can got on the oche.

Me, my beard, and a legend.
Had a competition at work to win VIP tickets to Ally Pally on the 28th, 35 people entered. Simply, everyone had 3 darts at the board, then we all threw again, it was best 3 dart score wins. Hit 22 first throw, was really annoyed with myself as I'd hit 4 or 5 treble tops with a few pratice throws earlier in the day. Second round, ton fourty.
Oh yeah, I also get to play on stage in a match against Ladbrokes between the afternoon and evening sessions!!

Classic 'finger-pointing at the 'look at this character'' pose.
Good work.

Self promotion 'bump'.
Went to the darts last night, and beat the Ladbrokes team. Also bumped into a few famous faces....

That's flipping brilliant. The resemblance between you and Robbie Savage is pretty eerie...
I just noticed tonight that the East drinks pub, the Royal Sovereign, has a dartboard. Looked like it hadn't been used for a while but any easties looking for a game, let me know, I'll bring the arrows next time.
Not the band.. but the game, does anyone play Darts here?
I know the lads at NJS Export play darts, because i've got some flights that they sent me and i have some of their flights left that i had printed for them in Japan, with their logo on.
