Love the bike. Reminds me of mine, function-wise TBH.
If you like drops on your commuter, then its nice to have drops in the winter too. Even if you do raise them slightly. Only problem is finding a set-up, that allows you to shift with thick gloves (or mittens/lobster gloves), and works with a more suitable MTN drivetrain. Bar end shifters do this brilliantly, while being nice and robust. Vee brakes are a solid chioce too. Cheap, predictible, and easy to set-up.
Nice set-up. I actually like the look of it too.
