Ale, Beer, Stout appreciation

I've had that at The Scolt head in De Beauvoir a few times. Sometimes it's absolutely fantastic, some times a bit so so. When it's good though, it's fantastic

They also have Truman's Runner, again it differs from time to time, but when it's good it's amongst the best i've had

I was talking to someone at my swimming club about this place last night. Great pub. Must get over there more.

Had a couple of rather tasty Young's London Golds in the Trinity in Brixton on Wednesday. I'm usually fairly indifferent to Young's but this was rather good.

Also was back in my home town of Hertford recently and thought it rude not to give the McMullens a try (having only got into ale since living in London). I'm a fan of pungent hoppy beers so it was right up my street. Not bad at all.
