I know it's a bike forum, but if you have to choose just one, you'd rather spend €10.5k on a road bike than a car? Not being funny but you're getting a hell of a lot more for your money with a car.

Yes, really, I don't need a car, and if I do, I simply hire one instead like those Street Car.

Giving where I live (and plan to), I can't see myself buying a car in the near future, due to that I spend a bit more on my bike so I can make the most of it everyday (heavy duty, trailer, ATB, disc, internal hubs etc.).

Make more sense that way, if my grandfather can managed with a bicycle in Leeds, so can I in London.
