But radial lacing almost any 32 hole hub is unadvisable. So if you want that many spokes for practical reasons, 28 2x would be less likely to-fail, lighter, and stay true longer. If youre doing it for looks, you've missed by a long chalk (but thats just MHO).
I'm sure the reality is that they hold up fine, and only weigh 25g more than a 28 2x. Its just one of my personal niggles.
