Someone going down long lane with a wheel strapped to their back, I would have attempted to acknowledge but was struggling to see with snow in my eyes. Hello!!!
I saw you to but was also in the same situation of having every single snowflake finding its way into
my eyes! Not the best ride i've ever done I must say. Good day to you too!later on unlocking outside peckhamplex a guy on a brakeless bike with a coaster brake......

A copper at a set of lights on mile end road. Thought he was stopping RLJers, but nope, stopping cars who hadn't removed ice from their windows so couldnt see properly. Good work.

I know Londoners aren't used to snow but I'm amazed how many of them can't work out that it's important to clean the snow off the roof of their car, not just the windscreen, before setting out. Surely it doesn't require a genius to foresee what will happen if you have to break suddenly with a roof covered in several inches of snow?

Could have been me on a black fixed touche.
Enjoyed the ride in this morning. Less looking forward to putting on wet clothes and re-venturing out in a bit.
Could well have been you. I also saw a black Touche on the way home, but I couldn't get through the traffice to look (I had a wide load strapped to my saddlebag).
I rode to Streatham. The motor traffic up there was insane. Not going anywhere, and hoping that blasting a horn will make a difference. News just in: It doesn't.
Then I built a new rear wheel with help from a friend, before setting off home along icy roads late last night.
Today, I will not be spotted on fixed, as I'm on my tourer. The snow was pretty bad back at home, but there's nowt here in Central London.

yup that's me, were you the guy I was trackstanding next to at the balham or tooting lights on Thursday evening? I've got to say I think my trackstanding's pretty ropey! But thanks for the beard compliment...
Also spotted gaz545, he's easy to spot as he appears to have decorated the back of his bike with Christmas lights!
Oh and i miss my semiregular spots of clefty, hope you're enjoying west London!
Hi - no, that was me trackstanding next to you in Balham (OTP Kona paddywagon with yellow tape drops and rims). Apologies for the flouro nodder jacket, but it was so cold, I donned the warmest clothes I could. Your keep right sign is excellent.
Think I managed to stiffle a snigger later at Tooting Bec when you nearly came off!

Someone rolling over Tower Bridge on a polo build around midday. Mallet at the ready, you could see the determination in his eyes - or, it was just the cold wind making him squint.

Wheras I was in legwarmers, covered in merino longjohns, followed by full jeans. On the feet; merino followed by sealskin followed by wooly socks.
FUCK YEAH COMFORT.
My polobike is a sit-and-beg nightmare if you're in a rush, but for this kinda weather it's fucking aces.
