I purchased it from tour de ville, a little boutique vintage bike shop in london. They said they picked it up with some other frames from a cycling club in belgium.
The livery on the frame says "markhorst elektro BV" which is a dutch electricity company. Perhaps it was a team sponsor?
The unusual steel aero crowned fork was also identical to that on some very fancy tomassini frames which were in the shop. The guys said they had only ever seen these forks on tomassini's and they were even rare on them.
So it puts an italian connection in the works!
Dont know anything else about the frame, but whats clear is that it seems to have connections all over europe!
