Re the whole Oakley debate - sure they can't compare to £7 safety glasses, but Oakley lenses really are top top quality - my eyes feel more relaxed and comfortable behind Oakley sunglasses or ski goggles than behind any other brands lenses. I've tried and owned a lot of others, but now all I buy is Oakley (apart from my work glasses - which have Nikon anti-glare lenses in and are the nuts).
I just couldn't justify the cost for something I'll only ever wear when it's snowing or raining really hard at night. I wish I could though :)
