One thing Sram Red has going for it, is the amount of options availible in the complete groupset. good range of Cranklengths, BB30 or standard, plenty of cassette sizes, and all this in both compact or standard crankset.
If you use a pretty standard set-up this is'nt an issue. But if you need short cranks for example, you can save £££s by still being able to buy a complete groupset.

.....Although I'm looking at a Campag record group, once the lighter 2011 version prices down the current one.
