-
• #228
have you heard of bittorrent?
google it if not. Also utorrent and torrentz.com
-
• #229
it's also on FX (sky channel)
-
• #230
yeah, i've been trying to find it online, mainly avoiding torrents (mainly because i'm lazy)
-
• #231
trust me, you can happily be lazy and use torrents..

Episode 5 is one of the best yet I think.
really? I wasn't impressed, seemed like a transition episode to me. A vehicle to get the storyline from one major plot point to the next
-
• #233
seeing as there have only been 5 episodes it is one of the best so far.. :P
I'm with Spotter though, ep 4 was way better. I still don't think the support acting is good enough to have a whole 45 mins of character development/exposition that keeps me fully interested.

True, but I wasn't too enamoured with 2/3/4. It was a dark episode and I liked the desperation, it's more how I imagine it would go down in real life. I didn't like the Merle storyline all, although I'm guessing it's in there because he will play a role later on?
Really want to read the comic now.
Get on Usenet for downloads, best way in my opinion.

If you've read the comics I reckon you can have a damn good stab at who Merle will play later on. 5 was good but now desperate to see 6, am I right in saying it's only 6 episodes this season?
-
• #237
you are right. 6 this season, 13 the next I believe.
Season 2 got confirmed after episode two viewing figures.

this won't be a spoiler but for those of us who have read the comic, I sure hope that there is a Michonne type character, she's awesome.

Episode 5 is one of the best yet I think. Don't want to spoil it so I'll leave it at that until other people see it
I thought it was quite boring (but still watchable), where was the action?
-
• #240
Oh definitely, she's a strange one at that too.
I hope that the tv adaption will actually start killing off the character exactly as the books, would be a bit of a let down (if not relieved) if they don't.

Just watched episode 6, it was better than 5 but still not great
-

Watched ep 6 earlier today and must say that I agree. Have been underwhelmed by the whole thing.
Good concepts (as per the graphic novels) and it's got a different storyline which is nice but I can't help but feel a bigger budget and/or a smaller cast for the moment would make it much more enjoyable. Once again there was some cringe-worthy acting.
Now that it's been given a second season though they might get a bit more moolah to throw at it. I'll keep watching for the storyline but it's got nothing on the comics!

Hmm episode 5 was a little disappointing. Nothing seems to be happening very fast, looking forward to episode 6 though, is that the last one in this series?
-
• #244
possibly, i think 7 could be "the making of"

Just watched the last episode. I must find the comics! I've got no idea where they are going to go now though!
-
• #250
neither do I, and I've read the comics ;)
There are some similar elements to it but the story goes in a difference direction. You'll still be surprised by the comics even after watching the show.
just watched.. interesting episode.
If you've read the comic and haven't seen it yet this ep (more than all the others) seems to suggest that the tv show isn't going to stick to the original storyline.
