do fingernails grow more quickly than toenails? i'm sure they're not supposed to but they really seem to lag behind. i must know.
also, i recently watched a documentary about the engineering problems surrounding the deepwater horizon spill. it was very interesting. at one point it mentioned in passing that the temperature of the oil at the point it was leaking was arount 300 degrees C. i had no idea oil was hot. anyone know why? is it something to do with pressure or just a function of it being from so deep underground (nearer the molten mantle?).
