I think gabes and Em are currently using similar geo frames. Might wanna check with them.

I just ordered 100 x 292mm Sapim Leader spokes... :D
I should really start moving everything off the Sparton and onto the Pompino, but probably gonna hit the pub instead... insert another even smilier smiley-face

Anyone had experience with the onza crankset, 24t 165mm?
My tapers are letting themselves go. I blame TV. -

Still want my frame, Emmet?

Those onza's should be good, and tarty bikes are the best bike shop ever, super nice guys.

Pretty sure Jono had some, Emmet. They're on ebay constantly.

Louis has been using the Onza's emmet and seems happy with them.
and considering he breaks anything he goes within 10 metres of, so far his drive side is still going strong (he did manage to break the non drive, but then thats kinda to be expected)

And Hilary Stone is selling some for £31.

This.
Although I can't actually remember how I broke it, I think I knackered the tapers (which propably means I didn't tighten it enough), I have also snapped a left crank recently, but i think that was after I killed the left onza.

She's ready and feels brilliant, maybe not as nippy a front end as my Sparton but way more comfortable, no toe overlap, lower gearing, still turns on a dime... Can't wait to play on it tomorrow... Should sort the new wheels for next week... :]

Nice one, Joe. Thompson seat post?

• #3865

I have a charge half link chain. It's missing a few links already but you'll welcome to help yourself to a few, or take the whole thing.
I'm up stamford hill way, will be in all morning.

With my freewheel, i just screwed it on, no spacer and it was fine.
Same setup and no problems with freewheels.

Quick question, can't find anything on here about it... with a dual brake lever is there any difference which side you put front/rear brake cables in?
-
• #3871
Less cross-over of wires if rear is on the bottom. This was my logic anyways.
Don't forget to get the right angles (not too steep, not too shallow) on your cabling to get the most efficient pull.

Snoops I have purple and black BMX 1 1/8th half links if you need some?
