RIP Peter Christopherson

Shit, didn't know. Saw Throbbing Gristle a few months ago at Heaven, and he was the star of the show for me - he had this sinister, metronomic finger movement as he sat producing deranged sounds, dressed like a total pervert.

The worst thing is that somebody will follow in his footsteps, prolonging the misery.

R.I.P. Peter Christopherson.
I saw TG in the winter of 1978 in some cold dark damp Wharf building in Wapping.
Danced my socks off to this - YouTube - Throbbing Gristle - Hamburger Lady
Almost Matthews related. :(

RIP.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11860014I'd known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She'd hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don't recall her playing an instrument or being able to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact, I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.
