I may bow to pressure actually, got some black tires already
-
• #428
It's not pressure, just that coloured tires make you look a twat.

I don't understand why anyone would want coloured tyres?! :-S
Or bartape.
-
• #430
Bar tape is sometimes ok, if matching the saddle but anything other than black tires is for idiots

To add a bit of a colour to a boring bike maybe, my only gripe normally is when everything is seriously coordinated, a la the merckx I guess. I might as well put the tricolor 600 brakes on while I'm at it

Dibs on the 600 brakes...

New road bike ready, though the rear gears aren't shifting properly. Want to get it up and running by the Clacton ride on Saturday, anybody good with SRAM Rival?

This is mine, follow-up to the steel Master Olympic I sold here. Been riding it since spring and I really like it, just put some new wheels in (www.speedcomposites.com - niceness from my hometown Tilburg, NL). Its looks get a little better with every black part I put on it, methinks. Going out for a test ride now :)

Coz they are always around cheap. My standards in taste are very easily influenced by my tightness.

just finished this a little while ago, and had a chance to ride it quite a bit now and i can tell you it's bloody lovely. Stiffer than i thought it would be, especially for it's size and all in, tips the scales at 9.5Kg which is really not bad at all.

testing this out, not fully setup yet.
Moulton AM20-2. That's Campag Athena 11 speed groupset (with temporary rear hub/cassette pending production arriving), 953 seatpost and quite different to the TSR30 in ride characteristics. (and a lot lighter) <3

That handlebar angle, what's the story there?
