However, it does mean I need to find some webhosting, preferably with an IP I can point domain names to. Cheap or free, with no ads. Not too fussed about server side stuff, although I have vague plans to turn one of the sites into a Wiki.

Who can recommend a supplier.

Dreamhost. Yankies but have a very good reputation and are much recommended.

Not free but cheap.
