I love the snow. Every year, when the ground is white, me and the Mrs cycle down to the park. It's beautifully quiet down there and not to mention completely surreal.

When it snowed this January i took my mtb up Warley Woods on the impromptu sledging track..bloody brillant fun..all over the gaff =)

When I lived in Norway we used studded tyres in the winter, got me to school and back! I've not seen them here though, some one in on your bike told me you can't get hold of them very easily?

Probably Pete (the non-Polish skinhead Apocolypse Now-era-Brando-look-a-like) who is a closet tyre collector. Studded tyres won't save you in Brum. The ice isn't deep enough. It's black ice (racist)!

I've only ever heard you yammering on, and one Spanish guy, but I think he misunderstood the epicicity of a Birmingham winter. From a Spaniard's perspective, Birmingham must be at least the 6th outer circle of hell, right?

What I hate about riding when it's snowing is that snow always seems to collect on my glasses and I end up not being able to see where i'm going. Not really sure what you can do about that.

Contacts FTW. I'm factor -8.5 (properly blind) and they totally changed my life. All sporty/active stuff is better, and people like me more and/or misunderstand me less. Conveying subtle(ish) anything through 8mm of plastic lens isn't easy.
