So you did it. Fanboy. You are going to have to ride fast now, or Wayne will make you strip it.
Fast and Grupetto don't mix. Illy is the exception that proves the rule.

The toughest thing has been resisting the urge to get a lynskey ti seatpost. I've gone for a 3T one fir now but a few beers and pc access may force a purchase...
I'd go for the USE Ti Alien. Nice clamp, decent weight, and just under a ton.

Hubs is on it's way too, design for a 3 speeds cassette, all that left really is 27" alu rims.
I'd recommend sprints coz if you go with HPs you're pretty restricted on tyre choice. All you can get here are Panaracer Paselas in black or gum walls.
Just finished the Hetchins and took it for a 15 mile shakedown in the winter sunshine yesterday. Front hub or spoke nuts are creaking is all that is wrong. Will change to Fiamme sprints soon... and the saddle original to the bike is with Brooks having a new tension pin fitted. It's darker than this one.

Just picked up these wheels for the carlton, they are off a fuji track but have had all the spokes replaced and were rebuilt by Dave Kane cycles in Belfast thats our main track/racing shop. That blue tyre is coming straight off lol
What budget tyres are decent, I'm between the vittoria zaffiro and the schwable lugano's.
Still loads to sort out on the bike, waiting on bearings and grease for headset turning up, fixing the steam, then fitting brake levers, drilling for brakes, tyres, wrapping bars properly etc.

This is my first full build project, it's kind of finished, my only bike right now, so I use it for the commute and everything. Hoping to start a track build next month. The frame is actually quite a cheapy, one from Hilary. Campy hubs and the wheels where the most expensive part, everything else is pretty standard. :)

Bit of a misnomer that. Hilary prices up frames sky high. £15 frames from a cycle jumble for £80-100.
But your frame, and bike for that matter do look pretty great.

I really don't think thats a fair thing to be saying about Hilary. He provides a constant supply of much needed items at just prices both for him and the buyer on this forum. And as far as I'm aware donates to the forum on a regular basis...

How do you know the frames cost £15?
As someone who has actually sold some frames and other bits to Hilary (on behalf of HHV), I can say that his markup is nowhere near that, he paid the same anyone else would have done and sfaik sold them on for a little more but not a huge amount more.
It's all gravy anyway, you pay a price if that's what you think something is worth, not what someone else paid for it. That's how retail works.

Donates more and more often than nearly anyone else, is my understanding.
