• For the British Lightweight project, I've just got the NOS 3 speed 1/8th freewheel block;

    it's a bit heavier than I though (300g), reading the instruction on adjusting the 3 speed derailleur, it stated that the chainline should be perfect on the middle cog, and with a 3/32 chainring on the front, the wear and tear shouldn't be much of an issue (especially with modern chain).

    the cog size is 16-19-22, so pair with a 47t chainring, I'll get a GI of 79.3, 66.8 and 57.7, a good range I'd like to think.

    Hubs is on it's way too, design for a 3 speeds cassette, all that left really is 27" alu rims.
