I quite like the specialized cross tyres, they come in a 32 (I think) but they have a nice shallow mid section in comparison to the grippy heavy tread at the sides.
I also like the Ritchey cross tyres for the same reason, but they aren't as shallow in the middle as the sbc. Also, you can pick up the SBC ones pretty cheap from nearly anywhere that sells the tri-crosss, most people who buy it get the shop to change the tyres.
