Just received this in the post today. It's a bit of a mystery as to what exactly it is.

There's no info on an 'A.J Rickett' anywhere on the web. I've contacted the seller to see if he knows anything about it. Someone seems to have taken a bit of time hand cutting the dropouts and seat stays so I'm hopeful it's not a load of crap :) I'd appreciate and info or guesses as to where it's from what age it is etc. The serial number on the BB is a '79' to one side and ''142' in the center. Cheers!
