  • without meaning being too much of a pessimistic cunt, a clean break is often better than soft tissue damage, which can lead to permanent weakness. a straightforward clean fracture will nearly always mend perfectly...

    just saying...

I broke my wrist in the summer, the bone healed up after 3 and a half weeks my tendons and ligaments are still fuubared after all this time!

I hope your doing ok josh, ill send that filthy one over to look after you.

    +1

My ankle is still a mess and i wish it was a break and not messed up soft tissue...

yes... all this is not untrue... I also had many twisted ankles and that kind of stuff, both sides, worst one being in a motorbike accident where my ankle got pinched/clamped between the car's rim/wheel and my motorbike engine, but don't be too alarmed by what you read here... I believe the difference between a clean broken bone and messed-up soft tissues is mainly time, and you are young, you will be fine, listen to doctors recommandations, etc... After all my troubles at my ankles, I cycle everyday, climbed the Mont Blanc, went skying, etc... Treat the thing seriously, be patient and you will be fine...
