Bizarrely rubbish attempted bike theft

IT happened to me during the London carnival. Police informed me that if I cut the other lock off, I could be done for damaging their property :(

Thankfully a fahg lock was stronger than whatever cutting tools they brought at 3am. Lock has a slight mark where they tried to use bolt cutters on it.

seriously bad advice from police. (i mean, is bike thief really going to roll up to the police station saying, hey, someone cut the lock i stuck on his bike so i could nick it...?)
