No was wanting experience on the matter TBH, at what depth does it become certain death? Then I'll probably ride 0.000000000001mm smaller than that.

I think you'll find H+ to catch some side winds. I've had dp18's and never had any real problems, it's just gets a bit wobbly at times

TBH no matter what you ride you're going to feel it, I often get a bit shaky with Aero Heads which aren't deep at all. Although I've never felt in danger.

Half-cock deep Zipp.

what kboy says. i particularly second the bit about the DP18s.
on a side note, i feel ashamed to tell the type of my rims, i always feel like saying Double Penetration eighteens shortend to sound more bike techsavvy or something, but that might just be meee.

HED 3 can demonstrate its automatic steering feature in a moderate wind over a bridge.
CXP30's and DP18's seem fine.

I thought it kind of straddled the line between bikes and bits because it requires experience of side winds rather than a simple question of which ones should i get.
Hey, I'm about to get a wheelset built and i wanted to quickly check what rim depth you guys think is safe for riding throughout the year considering cross winds and such. I wanted deep section rims and was thinking either deep V's at 30mm or the deeper rims like Dodici's, B43 and H + Son all in the mid 40's. Thanks guys!
