Crass chant of the night:
"You've got malaria"
How is that insulting?
Surely not a reference to Cashley's ex-wife?

MosThey were very excited about going to a game at a proper stadium. Bless.
Was it played at a neutral venue?

newcastle were terrible last night, not helping by blackburn scoring first and playing allardyce football for 90 minutes. 3 minutes of extra time in the first half was a good indication of how the game went. on the plus side, great header from carrol... again

They would have been better off chanting - 'You are a diving whinging prick'
Gerrard wasn't on the pitch.

Drogba recently admitted his below par performances were malaria related

what about teams that don't realy have a derby? i was always found it a bit odd that brighton and crystal palace bothered to hate each other and swindon oxford.

Well, and Prole Art might correct me on this, but I think the Notts. County vs Nottm Forest has little bile attached to it.

Leeds make up for their lack of a derby by hating everyone.

In the olden days, when I was a boy and before, quite a number of people would go to both Chelsea and Fulham home games. This has perhaps died off in more recent times. It does, however, mean that most Chelsea supporters look at Fulham with some fraternal affection. Fulham supporters, however, who are generally more recent converts to football support, are much more chippy in their attitudes, a bit like QPHaHaHa.

Chelsea really hate dirty Leeds (1970) and Tottenham (1967).

Not really. A few pensioners in the Notts end might wave their walking sticks threateningly, but thats about it.
Well, there was a 'pitch invasion' at a friendly a couple of years back, i.e. a bunch of pathetic teenage chav scroats acting up after being let of their parents lease for a Saturday afternoon. I don't think we've played them in a proper match for getting on 20 years.
I'm sure Derby vs. Burton matches are heated affairs.

I thought most of the rucks happened at lower league matches these days? Luton are bastards and the Plymouth - Exeter match kicked off big time the other night, pffft what a waste of time, fighting over who's the second best team in Devon.

"little bile" = not really any trouble at all.I was going to ask who Plymouth hate. What with them being so far away from everyone, I guess Exeter is the one.

A bit like Clive reminiscing about days gone by with Fulham Chelsea, a lot of Derby supporters watch Burton when Derby are away. I watch Burton every now and then when they are down here and we use them a lot for friendly matches throughout the season.

And Taunton. Everyone hates Taunton.

I suggest that whoever wrote that does not really know what they are on about. It's been pretty fiesty over the years when the clubs have been in the same division.
