That site's amazing.

My immediate thought upon reading this was of the turquoise turtle. I 'invented' (read, discovered through trial, error and a desire for symmetry) it when I was a nipper at primary school.

youre knot wrong, great site, remarkably none of the 18 variations are it, some of those broke my mind with their complexity.
seeing as there is so much interest you make a standard shoelace knot starting with the first loop, when making the second loop you put that back under and though the hole you just made- thus strengthening it up.
