My cat just fell out the window...

Currently we are showing her the poop, yelling at her, putting her and the poop outside together, then telling her she's a good kitty and leaving her outside for a few hours.

So basically you are teaching your cat that when she wants to go outside she just needs to poo on the carpet....

Never, ever shouts at your cat. I mean it.
