Anyone had a problem with convincing their cat to go outside?
Alley and us used to live in this house a year ago, and now we've moved back. When we were here before she went outside, no problem. In the year we've been gone she's had to use a litter box, but now that we're back we are trying to convince her that outside is the way, but she isn't so sure. She's peeing outside, but shitting on the carpet.
She's spent her whole life going back and forth between litter tray's and outside with no problem before and I have no clue as to how to break her of the habit. Currently we are showing her the poop, yelling at her, putting her and the poop outside together, then telling her she's a good kitty and leaving her outside for a few hours.
