first impressions are good. im used to a suspension fork on my singlespeed 26" bike so anything would seem a bit harsh, but i was pretty comfy all the way to work. certainly no more harsh than any other geared road bike ive ever ridden. needs a bit of adjustment of the riding position but thats always the way. need some chain adjusters to help set the chain tension. cant seem to get it quite right.
