Following with the Unicorn theme, what if we rip off the holdsworth logo:

Could have mallets (cliche I know), and a more cartoon unicorn?

cant say much, apart from that i like this thread (i misinterpreted it earlier) & its a good creative effort so far. I like your unicorn better now steve. the holdsworth logo is nice woody, you could create something very good there.

My ideas are thin on the ground, i would like donkey kong holding a wadge of mallets or pirates swordfighting with mallets on the prow of a ship
as for a logo, i would simply have a small pile of snapped mallets with MCR written underneath and a smiling unicorn holding a mallet bong flying over everything. wow i gtg

I know don't actually play polo but big fan of the unicorn idea/ste's new logo. Can imagine people would buy those.

everyones made good points here. i think whats important is that we get things moving on. whether we print unicorn tees or chanel logo tees isnt as important as just furthering polo in manchester imo. i do think we could do with some sort of logo for "mcr polo" that everyone likes. i personally have always liked neils suggestion, but we cant all be the same. on that note as well, i actually really like the MCR Hardcourt Bike Polo logo with a cog and ball in the name too, think its rather cool.

in terms of a polo shirt that would probably work for everyone, id say either the wizard tie dye or the joy division one. out of which the joy division would probably be easier to make. and joy division were amazing.

Ste's logos on ed of t'other page are ace - logo's like that work well small pocket area on front - big on back (see most of DQM and Passport's t-shirt range).

I've actually done a wee bit of screenprinting so can chip in with labour if owt needs doing.

hmm maybe its better to print a design done by someone who's works in a design agency for the last 7 years... im still not sure

i really like that idea, adam! we sell shitloads of photo print tees in work and all we need is a few good images and some tees to print it on. they'd definitely sell!

if we do a single colour print, but a photographic image they'll actually be cheap... just need to find somewhere that have good fine screens to get the detail in the print....

also dont forget the beautys iv done in the past...
