This week we are going over the River Lea. Technically this takes us into Essex, which is pretty damn east, but not really the East End, which is of course in Middlesex. Anyhoo, The people have spoken and this week it shall be The William IV in Leyton. 816 High Road Leyton E10 6AE http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=leyton+william+iv&hl=en&ie=UTF8&sll=51.572002,-0.018153&sspn=0.021045,0.039225&rq=1&ev=p&radius=1.01&split=1&filter=0&hq=leyton+william+iv&hnear=&ll=51.574536,-0.019441&spn=0,0.055575&z=15&layer=c&cbll=51.574599,-0.01143&panoid=bHyy50l7-5urDHlz8TAM9A&cbp=12,358.92,,0,-8.53 Looks like the best way to get there is just head up the Lea Bridge Rd until you're there.
This pub has its own brewery producing fine, but low-priced (£2 a pint), ales and they had better bloody well be selling the Ho Ho Ho Christmas ale with cinnamon and ginger, cos it sounds lush.
