they are selling more products year on year.
they are increasing market share
there profit per unit is higher than their competitors.
they have shit loads of cash in the bank (so much cash there is talk of them buying a big brand like sony).
not everyone is a developer or wants to mess around with different OS's in fact it's the opposite end of the market that they mostly cater for.
