Hello All,
I have just move back to Manchester after spending the last 9 months in France - I live in
town, All black bike, white rear wheel - Thought I would say hello.First day back thought I would go for a little ride, flat is full of unpacked boxes so needed to get
some fresh air, Riding down Oxford rd. ( eighth day of my right) women runs out of nowhere right
across me, Me to be fair going a little quicker than I should have been, a truck blocking my view of her & her view of me, We both hit the deck. She (a nurse) is fine ( THANK GOD ) & very apologetic, I have a little cut on my chin but am OK. Feel I had to share & this seems like an a good place to do it, Also man In the purple sweat if you out there thank you for being the only person out of 100+ people to stop & ask if we where both OK.PS. My real name is Jack -Hope this find you all well. Thanks

Haha, no wonder. I went to Edinburgh bicycle shop the other day and the people told me a lot about the law and safety here. He even told me to put brakes on and change the tire because of its condition(which I can use for few more weeks IF i ride everyday). Sorry, but is't that strict over here?
-
• #474
nah, i wouldn't worry too much about it. the coppers are alright, i've never had a ticket or been stopped. it depends how well you prepare yourself though, carry lights and you should be fine, i'd be surprised if you were to have any bother for anything else.
