No not really. I'm aiming at doing a 42km ride.

I really just need brakes, which is proving problematic due to the drop on the rear, probably going for Tektro R556 but can only find them in sets and they will be too long for the front.

Chrobin, do you have a blog where this can be seen in one place?
It seems a bit sad to have your project lumped in with the mass of fixie skidderz on this thread.

Iv recently built up a Tifosi Pista CX (got it very cheap although not a pretty frame) but im wondering if anyone had any tips on how to respray bikes so that the paint lasts. im not keen on the graphics but they seem painted on.
Also any reccomendations on colour would be great, im think black or an electric blue? -

Wow!!! The Slug, that looks awesome (said in best American accent). Really very nice for what was meant to be a beater! Are those the 501 forks? Do you need front and rear brakes if it is going to be fixed?

Cheers. Yeah, I got a bit carried away after I got it powder coated.
I'm going to run it SS to start with and then try fixed later. Where I live, massive hill with a very busy road at the bottom makes a full brakeset the sensible option.
I actually managed to find a long drop Dia Compe last night so will have it up and running soon.
Edit: Oh yeah and they are the 501 forks, I think they work really well.
is that a ponza saddle?
