Good work, Nhatt, I hope it makes a difference.

Nhatt
The question was not directed at you.
Hope the bike is now safe.

Has this been resolved yet?
I am in the market for a cheap 'fixie' for my polo team mate. Would these stand up to it Mister Caramel?
They're £340 now, not £200 so for a bargain cheap ride I found these, but dare not start a new thread: -

there are probably many other more robust bikes from reputable manufacturers reduced to the 200 pound mark, there was a thread about one such bike a couple of weeks ago, but i cant remember the details.
i found my other half a diamond back mojito ss 29er for 200 pounds, would be fairly suitable for polo
-

Yeah good point.
A 29er would be just the job, good idea. I guess Gumtree is the way forward then. -

£200 on a Carerra Subway, or £189 in that fenoccio? C'mon... Extra £100 and you get something solid as hell.

Carrera Subway, 199 in Halfords sale?
-
• #435
Yeah, or that Carrera.

Brendan was thinking of selling his sbc jumpbike..

Zing! Test ride being sorted. Bit of an epic wheelbase but we'll see.
I checked out Brendans, too nice (and big) for polo I reck.
Cheers y'all.

Holy crap ! It's back !! http://www.gumtree.com/london/19/67212419.html
"Brand new futuristic grey and white 46T Shimano Nexus crank (new old stock, circa 1985, sourced from USA, alone worth £120) "
No doubt picked up in a De Lorean, and all yours for only 590 Marty McFly pounds, mmmmmm. -
• #439
600 quid for that??? Considering the OTP alternatives or what you could build for that kind of money I find that insulting. Even if that it supposed to appeal to well heeled, lesser informed individuals it's got to at least look convincing. And are those stumpy schrader valves barely poking through those mismatched rims?

Popcorn time all over again?

how odd as fenocchio is a rude slag for gay.

Got a Fennocchio bike about 2 months ago and I am pretty happy with it. I've had a number of bikes stolen before (as probably most Londoners) so went with the cheaper option on gumtree.
My personal comment is that the bike is pretty decent for the price and it rides smoothly.

• #444
mmmmmm....wonderful!

• #445
no activity in thread for a week? first post for a new user?
just sayin...
-
• #446
I'm always suspicious of people who describe how a bike 'rides' as 'smoothly'
-
• #447
How else would you describe a bike?

• #448
mine judders a bit.

James, I'm not there spokes person, I have no idea. What I promised to do was report on this one bike that I have taken responsability for.
Email him and ask.
