John Taylor for me. The fact he could play Rio whilst fucked up beyond belief on a mixture of heroin and cocaine is pretty damn impressive. And he's such a musical player.
I also like Nigel Harrison from Blondie. Always played exactly what was needed and nothing more.

Chris Wolstenholme from Muse is an ace player too, as tight as a drum. That Glastonbury performance which had him crowd surfing whilst playing without a single fault was one of the most impressive things I've seen.
