Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

i own 7 items of rapha clothing.
all are well put together.
my gf who was a couture pattern cutter until she flounced from the world of fashion has expressed her approval of the manufacturing standards.
all fit well
all are comfortable on the bike, even at 100miles plus.
the older items are wearing well, including washing well

i like their stuff
i will continue to buy their stuff
but
i dont really feel defined as a cyclist by their stuff i guess in the same way that i refuse to buy campy because i just want a derailleur to shift my chain, i dont need it to provide me with a spiritual link to european cycling heritage and grainy images of 1930s to 50s cycling hardmen suffering in the alps.

Good for you, now what do you want me to do, give you prize/sticker/pat on the back?
