Spending Review
So... New social housing tenants pay 80% of market rate in rent while the Government caps their housing benefit, forcing the poorest into ghettos on the fringes of our cities. Brought to you by a Chancellor who will avoid £1.6 million in inheritance tax when he gains £4 million from his trust fund by using a wealth management scheme, and says "those with the most should pay the most". What a massive hypocrite.
Alan Johnson currently doing a good job of pointing out Osbourne's shortcomings, including pointing out that the Tories never called for reduced spending or stronger banking regulation before the economic crisis began in 2007 - in fact they called for banking deregulation and for the Government to spend more!
