Yeah I can tighten it down (requires 2 people) as there isn't much spare thread,
but the chain line is off which is why I need to re space it I thought. -
• #3553
Re-space what? A 130mm back end will have the same chain-line as a 120mm back end? Axle length doesn't change cog position.
Or am I missing something?

Ha, no quite right M. I'd need a shorter BB but I'm not sure there's room.

If you care about your frame, cold set it. It's easy to do and if you aren't sure about it then pop in and ask Ryan to do it and check it on his flat table.
If you just tighten it down as suggested above, the frame won't immediately snap/break/fail but you are putting the chainstay and dropout under tension that they're not designed to deal with. Not good long-term.

I'm so confused I just had to go out to the car park to measure my rear end to make sure I wasn't losing my mind...
I took the rear wheel out of my 120 spaced Steamroller and slotted it directly into my 120 spaced Pompino about six months ago. There was no wrestling involved.Yours is 120 mine is 130. Not comparable.

That's fine, I just had no idea they made a 130 spaced version.

True. Just do what Adam keeps talking about and buy another one as a spare that has the right spacing.

ask in your LBS, maybe the guy has a axel in the spare box for nil, and you can reuse your cones and spacers
forget about the chainline it will be fine

Fairly pricey, happy for a second hand one.
Also, does anyone have a crankset for sells? Need (Dean) to go lower than 38t (130bcd) so anything smaller?
Mine is 130 but i have the blb freestyle hub which has long axels, just tightened it down with no spacers, works good.
Riks answer seems like the best solution unless you can squeeze the drop outs by hand whilst putting the hub in place.
