  • For me, the main point of having a freshly rolled custom cigar is to smoke it as soon as you can. I'm sure the corona I bought would have been equally good, if not better had it been aged, but the opportunity to smoke a freshly rolled cigar is fairly rare (at least for us in England). Mr. Paredes was adamant that the moistness of the cigar will have a pretty evident effect on the flavour, i.e. there's a large fluctuation in flavour between a moist cigar, and a slightly more dryed out one. For that reason, I wish I'd bought two so I could have laid one aside for a while...I just couldn't justify dropping the cash at that point in time...
