Which winter shoes / boots are people using?

People that call certain winter boots and gloves 'overkill' are the people i ignore.
I'd much prefer my feet and hands to be 'too warm' and 'too dry'...and know that i can use those same products anywhere in any conditions without worry.

I've had plenty of gloves that have been classed as 'too warm' for our winters in cycling reviews which were useless for me.

Ain't that the gospel truth.
