Stolen bikes

Last night two of my mates bikes were nicked from outside the Rio on Kingsland Road at around 10pm. A Condor Pista and a Charge Plug Freestyler. There were plently of people around and one guy even told us he saw some guys goin at the D-locks with an angle grinder... sparks flying everywhere apparently, but no one intervened or tried to disturb them. Must have made quite a racket too! They managed to get through 3 locks the buggers.

see that's what i don't get - it's the same mentality that seems to take hold of people when anti-social, cretinous wastes of skin and organs play shitty, tinny music on their phones at the back of the bus in a misguided attemtp to appear intimidating - people seem to be so paralysed by media-hyperbolised portrayals of youth culture they would rather suffer in silence or watch a blatant crime being committed under our collective noses than take a stand. they might have knives you know!

and it seems to be a wholly english trait.
