    Way over the top, but totally look like they'd last 3 or 4 winters which makes them not as bad cost-wise.

    Apparently Half Pipe near Notting Hill does them or can order them in. http://www.half-pipe.co.uk/

    They're available in wide fit for the bigger sizes too (not necessary for me, but seemed good that they cater for different sizes).

    A friend who rides year round in Minnesota rates these highly and they get proper hardcore winters over there, so they must be good.
