it's a thing that some people have a problem with, but doesn't affect the majority of the community, and certainly doesn't affect what happens in real life (JD turns profits, sound guy), the kind of beef expressed in the thread and here brings an unnecessary downer to this place, especially given what a shitty week it's been, i was commenting on how i don't feel the same way about it as jaw, Markyboy, horatio, etc., i do not and would not sell things for profit but i don't see any advantage to publically slating amey and other new users (c'mon, older users don't get called out for this stuff), if you don't agree why not just send a pm expressing that, or just ignore the thread?

How do you know how I feel about it? I haven't expressed a view on the rights or wrongs of what he's doing. I merely questioned your use of the word "shrewd" to describe something a half-trained chimp could do.

And I've only made it clear that I won't sell anything to you if I suspect you're buying it to make a profit. That's not at all incompatible with your seemingly free-market stance.
