anything with windows on it, is not future proof. Seriously have you ever met anyone who has used a windows based laptop for more than a year and a half? get a mac for £750 u can get something OKish even the basic macbook I have owned for 4 years outperforms most windows machines and that is only got 2 gig of ram

My HP has the original install of XP on it from when I bought it new in 2006. I still use it.
