If you've got a BB/down-tube/chainstay interface strong enough to withstand excessive flexing when paired with external cups, it'll do the same with a square taper.
I've run the same frame oversized alu frame with both Centaur sealed internal, and Centaur UT, and there was no miraculous difference when accelerating uphill out of the saddle on the same climb. The frame still moved laterally. Anything else was imperceptible/irrelevant.
