What about cases has anyone got any recommendations?

As in which case to buy? Much depends on the bike you want to put into it and where you're travelling (mode of transport) and levels of convenience offset against protecting the bike.

I have a neoprene cover whih works for me, as it slips next to my laptop in the rucksack (kidle screen facing laptop).

Mine was 2 to 3 weeks and got mine after 18 days....

Considering cancelling and getting the Sony.

When I bought mine it said 1-2 weeks for dispatch (ordered the 8th as well). The next day it said 4-7 days. I assume my order will have been bumped into the 4-7 day bracket, and should be shipped any day. If the Advent Vega was out now, I'd probably go take a look at it, and if worth it, cancel my order and buy one instead. Really need somethign to take PDFs with me by the end of next week.

I'll lend you mine horatio. It's a Kindle DX2, but it does PDFs well and will last the time. Problem with the DX2 was that the web browsing sucked and was limited to just Wikipedia, but if you just want the PDF reading you can borrow mine for your hols.

Man, I want a DX. I wish they were selling them in the UK now. You need to import them as is.

Ah, but if I finished my book I would have put another in my bag or if I'd forgotten that I have Kindle on my phone anyway so I would continue reading Sherlock Holmes. I win.

Doesn't matter. Looks like mine is being shipped today (expected delivery Monday. crosses-fingers and hopes for tomorrow!).

mine says something like that. The estimated arrival is now Monday though, so if they're not taking the piss it's got to go out today to make that date (I got the sorta expedited shipping - 1-2 business days).
