Spotted in Morrisons - Taylor's Hot Java Lava
Reminded me of uni when I used to be able to drink a mug (8 shots) of espresso made with that stuff and then go to sleep. Ahh, student days....
Put some in my maker overnight, but it's as I remembered. Harsh as hell. Kept me going most of the day though.
One of the nicer commonly-stocked (OTP?) coffees I've found is Lavazza Crema e Gusto. Comes out quite nice in my stovetop maker.
btw, there's a catering supply shop on the east side of Stoke Newington High St some way north of the police station. That's where I got the stovetop and they had an espresso machine or two if you fancied dropping a wodge. No idea if they were good value, but maybe more hardwearing than your typical Argos or John Lewis stock.
